MILLER, Jack Dempsey Sr. - 73, Hubbards, passed away March 11, 2003, at home. Born in Hubbards, he was a son of the late Hughie and Ella (Graves) Miller. Jack retired in 1993 from Canxel with 26 years of service. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness for 34 years and an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are his wife, the former Joan Lillian Dorey; son, Jack (Lyda), Simms Settlement; sisters, Nancy (Hubert) Dorey, Hubbards; Pearl Gray, Ontario; grandchildren, Zackery and Alyssa. He was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Murdock; sister, Eileen. Memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall, Simms Settlement, Elder George Crowell officiating.
