MORASH, Bernard St. Clair "Bernie" - 77, Lunenburg, formerly of Peggy's Cove, passed away November 7, 2002, in Fisherman's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Peggy's Cove, he was the youngest son of the late Oscar and Frances Lillian (Swinamer) "Mom" Morash. Bernie resided for many years in British Columbia, living in both Prince Rupert and Nanaimo, where he worked for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 118 and member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He is survived by his companion, Lana Mossman; sons, Vincent (Laurie), Halifax; Rickey (Brenda), Timberlea; Norman (Carol), Dartmouth; David (Lyn), Meagher's Grant; daughters, Annette Morash (Dana Sawler), Ingramport; Chris (Larry) Stevens, Hubbards; grandchildren, Andrea, Aaron, Brock, Amanda, Clayton, Darrel, Dorothy, Jacquie, Tim, Tara, Jason, Justin, Devan; great-grandchildren, Carter, John, Brian; sisters, Millie Russell, Lawrencetown; Minnie Dunn, Timberlea; Gracie (Donald) Manuel, Peggy's Cove; several nieces and nephews; first wife, Elizabeth (Hick) Morash, Ingramport; He was predeceased by his second wife, Norma Nagy; brother, Edward. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. No service or flowers by request. A private family committal will take place at a later date.
