
| MORASH, Douglas Percy - 92, Glen Margaret, passed away Friday, June 11, 2004, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Indian Harbour, he was a son of the late Richard and Lillian (Blakeney) Morash. Doug drove taxi for over 50 years in Halifax and Dartmouth areas. He also operated a trucking business and worked the docks as Longshoremen for many years. Doug was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also so enjoyed dancing and playing cards when ever the time would permit. He is survived by sons, Doug (Joan), David (Cecelia), all of Glen Haven; Richard (Lorna), Ronnie (Marlene), Glen Margaret; Jerry, Victoria, B.C.; daughters, Joan Burchell, French Village; Lynn (Francis) McLellan, Brookside; brother, Earl, Tantallon; sister, Doris (Bubbles) Zinck, Hackett's Cove; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Edith M. Holland; brothers, Tom and Abe; sister, Marg. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. Funeral Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Hackett's Cove, Rev. Tom Kerr officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
