MORASH, Frederick Abraham - 78, Hubbards, passed away Friday, June 28, 2002, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. He was the son of the late Frederick Sr. and Edith Mae (Johnson) Morash. Frederick was a stationary engineer at CFS Mill Cove and National Sea. He was a faithful church-goer. He enjoyed fishing from the Grand Banks to the shores of St. Margaret's Bay. Fred played fiddle music from an early age to present. He was also a member of the St. Margaret's Bay GRS Club, White Caps Seniors Club and National Camper and Hiker Association. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Florence (Logan); sons, Norman, Victoria B.C.; Wilfred (Jean), Sims Settlement; daughters, Lottie (Terry) Snair, St. Margaret's Bay; Dale (Peter) Howell, West Chezzetcook, Darlene (Ray) LeBlanc, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Lena Nowe, Seabright. He was predeceased by daughter, Joyce; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service pending.
