MORASH, Julia Maud - 55, Halifax, passed away Friday, June 15, 2007, at home. Born in Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Jean Johnston. Julia retired due to illness from the Department of Supply and Services, 1986, where she had been a well-respected payroll clerk. She was a member of St. Andrews Anglican Church, Timberlea. She had long struggled with Multiple Sclerosis since 1979. She is survived by her husband, Earl; daughter, Angela Zinck (Kevin Nicholson), Halifax; stepdaughter, Shawn (Joey) Haddad, Lewis Lake; stepson, Earl (Suzanne Stewart) Webber, Lakeside; sister, Bernardine (Bernie) McHughen, and niece, Crystal McHughen, both of Alberta; aunts, Ruth Millett, Sally McNeil, both of Halifax; stepgranddaughters, Crystal and April Stewart, both of Lakeside. She was predeceased by her aunt, Francis Swaine; nephew, Jamie McHughen. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday in St. Andrew's Anglican Church , Timberlea. Interment to follow at a later date.
