MORASH, Lyle Clyde - 75, West Dover, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 28, 2005, while on a hunting trip in Hants County. Born in West Dover, he was the son of the late Clyde and Esther (Baker) Morash. He was a faithful member of West Dover Baptist Church. He was formerly employed as a heavy equipment mechanic with L.W. Allen Limited and was retired from Mills Heavy Hauling Limited. He had a passion for old cars and engine repairs. Lyle received great enjoyment from playing his guitar and fiddle, and he loved old-time country music, especially Hank Snow songs. He was a very devoted husband, father and "papa". He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, the former Florence Grace Corney; sons, Vernon, Big Lake; Robin, Baton Rouge, La.; three grandchildren; a niece, a nephew and many cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Morash; stepmother, Rose "Etta" (Cleveland) (Zinck) Morash. The body is resting in Ronald Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Cove Rd., Tantallon. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 1, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., funeral service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, in West Dover Baptist Church, Rev. Michael Cannell, Rev. Gerald Zinck and Rev. Ardythe Ashe officiating. Interment in Baptist Cemetery, East Dover. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to West Dover Baptist Church building fund would be appreciated.
