MORSE, Orabelle May- 98, of Boutilier's Point,
passed away November 20, 2009, after enjoying a game of scrabble while
residing at Shoreham Village Nursing Home. She was born August 18, 1911, in
Garden Lots, Lunenburg Co., the daughter of Walter and May Tanner. She was
predeceased by her husband Jack (2000) to whom she was married for 65 years.
Cherished mother of Donald, David (Janet), Peter and Susan Elliott. She is
also survived by grandchildren, Karen (Brian), Geoffrey (Debra), Christopher
(Kristy), Matthew and Mark as well as great-granddaughters, Samantha, Jamie,
Breana and Isabella. She was predeceased by brother, Lawrence; sister,
Audret; son-in-law, Lary Elliott, and grandson, Jonathan. Orabelle was very
fond of gardening and was a very good bridge player. She enjoyed painting,
reading and later in life enjoyed many board games. She was a member of St.
James Anglican Church. A service will be held in St. James Anglican Church,
Boutilier's Point on Tuesday, December 1, at 10 a.m. Interment in the church
cemetery. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
Feed Nova Scotia or a charity of your choice. Condolences may be sent to the
