
| MULLENGER, Hazel Mildred - 94, Upper Tantallon, passed away peacefully at home on January 31, 2005, in the presence of loved ones, following a short period of failing health. Born on Miscou Island, N.B., Hazel was the oldest daughter of the late William and Jane "Janie" (Vibert) Chiasson. Hazel was a devoted, active member of St. Margaret's Bay United Baptist Church and of her community for over 50 years. In her own special manner she touched many with her special way of independent living. Her loving kindness and caring spirit will be forever remembered. She is survived by her brother, Havelyn "Have" Chiasson, Sussex, N.B.; loving niece, Carolyn Agnew, Cole Harbour; great-nephews, Colin and Neil Agnew, Dartmouth/Halifax; loving nephew, Blair Chiasson, Toronto, Ont.; dear sister-in-law, Ruth Chiasson, Bathurst, N.B.; her precious neighbourhood family, Loyall (Phyllis) Miller and family, Gordon (Marjorie) Hill and family; her many friends, especially Olive MacDonald. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Roy Mullenger; brothers, Kenneth, Lloyd and Clyde; sisters, Nellie, Iris, Florence, Marion, Eunice; loving nephew, Ronald "Ron" Chiasson. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon where visitation will be Wednesday, February 2, from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 3, at 2 p.m. in St. Margaret's Bay United Church, head of St. Margaret's Bay, Pastor Richard Moore officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Margaret's Bay United Church or a charity of choice.
