MacDONALD, Helen Marguerite - 86, Seabright, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 12, 2002, in Fairview Villa, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Head of St. Margaret's Bay, she was a daughter of the late Stuart and Olive (Dauphinee) Dorey. Helen was an active member of her community, a member of the White Caps Seniors Club, a former member of the local Home and School and an active member of St. Paul's Anglican Church. She was retired from the Victoria General Hospital, where she worked as a C.N.A. She was also a member of the N.S.G.E.U. Surviving are daughters, Gloria Butler, Halifax; Judy (Arthur) Malay, Seabright; brother, Lionel Crocker, Toronto; sisters, Dorothy Mathieu, British Columbia; Gertrude Sorenson, Lower Sackville; grandchildren, Kathryn, April, Tony, Johnny and Mark; great and great great-grandchildren fondly remember her as their "Nanny Mac", Taryn, Dustyn, Kayce, James, Jordan, Samantha, Alex, Justin, John, Mark, Justin, Brittany, Mitchell and Stuart. She was predeceased by her husband, Byron F. MacDonald; brother, William; great-grandson, Billy Noble. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. Funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Anglican Church, French Village, Rev. Rick Walsh officiating. Burial to follow in St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery.
