MacLEAN, Susie Eva - 85, Hubbards, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2004, at home. Born in Hubbards, she was a daughter of the late Neil and Eva (Tibert) MacLean. Susie was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church and at one time was a member of the I.O.O.F. M.U. Susie spent most of her life in Hubbards with the exception of four years as an employee of the National Revenue, Ottawa and 12 years accompanying her husband on several postings abroad which included Ottawa, Jamaica, Switzerland, Norway and England. Surviving are her husband, Russell; son, Thomas; daughter-in-law, Rosewitha and a number of nieces and nephews along with a number grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Annie, Mona, Edna, Beulah; brothers, N. Charles and Donald. The family will receive visitors Tuesday 7-9 p.m. with funeral service Wednesday 11 a.m., both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards, Rev. Jim Greene officiating. A family committal will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice.
