
| MARTIN, Nevilia Whippenham - 66, Tantallon, Halifax Co., died Friday, October 5, 2001, in the V.G. Site, QEII. Born in Glen Haven, Halifax Co., she was a daughter of George and Elaine (Conrad) Boutilier. She was a very active person who enjoyed life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and also a foster mother to numerous children for some 20 years. She was a charter and founding member of St. Margaret's Arena Association and also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch 116 Legion. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Stan; sons, Hal (Beverly), Westwood Hills; Jeff, Florida; Craig (Debra), Lower Sackville; Colin, at home; daughters, Denise, at home; Twila (Denis) Tuffs, Boutilier's Point; sister, Adeline MacDonald, Tantallon; brothers, Charles, Dartmouth; Winslow (Mary), Halifax. She was predeceased by her son, Paul in infancy; brother, William; sisters, Helen Slaunewhite and Irma Smith. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, in St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Tantallon, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. |
