McDONALD, Ronald Milton - 80, of Tantallon passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008, in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Milton and Lillian (Dorey) McDonald. He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Olive Mae (Hutt); daughters, Wendy (Wayne) Calnen, Hammonds Plains; Kathy (Danny) Earl, Glen Haven; sons, Ron Jr. and Rick, both of Tantallon; Robyn (April), Oklahoma City; brother, George (Gisela), British Columbia. He leaves behind his dearly loved grandchildren, Scott (Paula), Blair (Melissa), Christie Calnen, Jacob Earl, Jill, Ben, Neil, Karli McDonald. Before retiring, Ronnie was employed with Canada Post. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, January 4, in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 5, in Head of St. Margaret's Bay Baptist Church, Head of St. Margaret's Bay, Rev. Richard Moore officiating.
