
| McINNIS, Ronald Stewart - 68, Mill Cove, passed away February 17, 2005, at home, surrounded by his family. Born in 1936, he was a son of the late Stewart and Margaret McInnis. Ronnie was loved by many, he was known for his flower gardens, woodworking, bird watching and he took great pride in his fish pond. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He worked most of his life as a stevedore on the Halifax waterfront and was a member of ILA Local 269. Ronnie also worked as a fisherman with his brother-in-law, the late Mervyn Snair. He will be truly missed by his friends and family. Thanks for all the love and support of his AA buddies especially the World Famous Hubbards Group and a very special thanks to friend Bob M. He was predeceased by good friend, Mike R., who, we are sure, is waiting for him in heaven. Missing him greatly are wife of 47 years, Christine; sons, Randy (Joanne Westhaver), Kevin (Stephanie); daughters, Wendy (Roger Jollimore), Kim (John Laws); sisters, Arlene (Colin MacIsaac), Judy (Terry Young); brother, Carmon; grandchildren, Abbie, Lucy, Tyler, Chanse, Maggie, and Jack; stepgranddaughter, Darlene; many nieces and nephews. He loved his pets very much and they waited by his side through it all, cats Fraggle and Annie, and dog Taylor. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday in St. Luke's Anglican Church, Hubbards, Rev. Jim Greene officiating. Burial to follow in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Fox Point.
