
| NACHAZEL, Dr. Vlado - 72, Sheldrake, formerly of Baddeck. It is with great sadness to announce Vlado's peaceful passing, while surrounded by his family, August 13, 2003, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Vlado was born in Czech Republic and immigrated to Canada in 1968. Known as the "Vet" he spent 16 happy years practicing in Cape Breton. He believed that family was most important of all, and upon retirement moved to Sheldrake to be close to his children and grandchildren. He had many talents and hobbies, including woodworking and gardening. He loved to debate just about any topic. Whatever he did, he always did his best. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elena; daughters, Jana (David) Gray, Bedford; Vladka (Peter) MacDonald, Tantallon; sister, Vera, Czech Republic; a loving grandfather "deda" to his grandchildren, Shawn, Stephanie, Mark, Victoria and Suzanne. He will be dearly missed by everyone, including Ringo. He was predeceased by both parents. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. No visitation or funeral service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society.
