NICHOLAS, Donald Frank - 66, Fox Point, passed away Wednesday, March 9,  2005, in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Fenwick and Nora (Coolen) Nicholas. Don will be
remembered as a loving, devoted husband and father. His many friends, co-workers and partner will also remember his cheerful presence and humour and he will be greatly missed by all that new him. Don was employed
in the transportation industry for over 40 years and for the last 10 years as a broker with KTS Logistics Inc. He was an active chartered member of the Hubbards Area Lions Club, serving in all positions over the years and in
the year 2000, he was honored as life member of the Lions International for his outstanding service. He was a former member of the Hubbards and District Volunteer Fire Department. Don's true passion was woodworking,
especially with the scroll saw. His award winning creations have touched the hearts of people far and wide. Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, the former Joan Rutledge; daughter, Sally Ann, Fox Point; brother, Douglas (Doris), Spryfield; sister, Patricia Boutilier, Calgary, Alta. Visitation Sunday, 2-5 p.m., with funeral service Monday, 2 p.m., both in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards, Rev. Jim Greene officiating.
