NATVIK, Dagfinn Orbeck - 86, Seabright, passed away suddenly Sunday, December 9, 2001, at home. Born in Laerdal, Norway, he immigrated with his family to Canada in 1960. He was a son of the late Olay and Anna Natvik. Prior to his retirement he worked for Irving Engineering in Saint John, N.B. and later moved to Halifax where he worked for F.C. O'Neill Consulting, Morris and Richard Consulting Engineering. He was a lifetime member of the Association of Professional Engineers of the Province of Nova Scotia. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Angerd; daughters, Jorunn (Mrs. Odd Molde), Eli (Natvik), both of Norway; Sissel (Mrs. Harald Norve), Halifax; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister and three brothers. Cremation has taken place. Family flowers only. A memorial service will be held 11 am. Saturday, December 15, with a reception to follow, both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. Interment will take place in Filefjell, Norway, at a later date.
