O'TOOLE, John - 71, of Hammonds Plains, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Douglas and Marguerite (Hyland) O'Toole. He is survived by his sons, Mark and Michael; grandchild, Tasha O'Toole, Brandon, Man.; great-grandson, Drydon; brothers, Douglas (Ethel), Tantallon; Patrick, Lakeside; sisters, Rosalie (Jerome) Tufts, Lakeside; Colleen Bowdridge, Spryfield; many nieces and nephews; lifelong friends and business partner, Robert Bottomley and his wife May. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Barbara Everet; brother, Terrance; brother-in-law, Roy Bowdridge; nephews, Timothy Bowdridge and Christopher Tufts. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 3rd, in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. Rev. Mark Marshall officiating.
