PAQUIN (Chew), Dorothy Kathleen - 80, Bayswater, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater; she is beginning a new chapter in eternity after a brave battle with cancer. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Wilfred Chew and Florence Stott. She was born in Toronto but lived most of her very full life in Quebec with the last seven years in Bayswater. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Doria "Doe" Paquin and by their youngest daughter, Susan Leslie. Daughter Debra Paquin will dearly miss her lovely mother but will take comfort in so many wonderful memories. Dorothy also leaves granddaughter, Megan Leslie (Matt Smart); son-in-law, Allan Leslie, and many friends in Nova Scotia and Quebec. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and willingness to share her considerable needlework talents in appliqué quilting and unique penny rugs. She was a member of Chester United Baptist Church and many other community groups. Sincere thanks to everyone who cared for Dorothy on this journey. A service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, March 12th, at 2 p.m. in Chester United Baptist Church, Rev. Dan Green officiating. A donation may be given in Dorothy's memory to Chester United Baptist Church or SHAID Tree Animal Shelter. On-line condolences can be made at: www.rawalker.ca
