PAYNE, Freda Ellen Ethel - 93, French Village, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2006, in Melville Lodge, Halifax. Born in London, England, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Ethel Bevis. Surviving are her loving husband of 50 years, Robert; daughter, Adrienne (Gordon) Vandyke, Vaughan, Ont.; sister, Iris Bird, Florida; grandchildren, Ian (Emmaline) Vandyke, Toronto, Ont.; Karen (Robert) Lanni, Vaughan, Ont. She was predeceased by sister, Hilda, and first husband, Alec Dewdney. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ronald A. Walker Funeral Homes.
