PICKREM, Gerald Lloyd "Gerry"- 80, Boutilier's Point, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 4, 2010, in QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late William Edward and Ida (Dauphinee) Pickrem. Gerald "Gerry" was a project Superintendent with Bremner Plumbing and Heating Ltd., serving the plumbing and heating industry for a period of 36 years. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Heather (David) Keddy; stepson, Byron (Roma) Kennedy; three grandchildren, five great- grandchildren; sister-in-law, "Vannie" and "Gertie" Pickrem and the Pickrem families, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Petvona "Pat") in 1996; brothers, Don, Roy, Ted and sister, Margaret. A special thank you to Avon Boutilier and "Vannie" Pickrem for their care and to the Vcitorian Order of Nurses, especially "Angie" and to Josephine for their home service. The family will receive visitors 4-6 p.m. Sunday June 6. Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday June 7, both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards, Rev. Kevin Little officiating.
