REDMOND, Mary Christina - 75, of Glen Margaret passed away Sunday May 16, 2010 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Berwick she was the daughter of the late John William and Mary Madeline (Bennett) Hubley. Mary was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Before Mary was married she worked as a telephone operator. She was a lifetime member of the UCW, taught Sunday school and was a member of the coffee club, Red Hat Society and William Black Memorial Church where she was a choir member for many years. Mary loved to play cards, did wonderful needlework and loved to spend time with family and friends. <EP,1>Survived by her husband, Gerald; sons, Shawn (Andrea), Glen Margaret; Darrin (Patti), Truro; daughter, Carla (Calvin) Burchell, Glen Margaret; grandchildren, Emily (Mike) McDonah, Amanda and Jessica Redmond; great grandchild, Phinn McDonah. The family will receive visitors 4-7 p.m. Wednesday May 19th in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Road, Tantallon. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday May 20 in William Black Memorial Church, Glen Margaret. Rev. Sandra Cox officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.
