RHUDA (Brophy), Lila Adeline - 63, Glencoe Station, passed away suddenly April 27, 2002, in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Lower Prospect, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Ryan) Brophy. She was a member of Glencoe Station Recreation Centre and the Port Hood CWL. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by daughters, Heather (Sandy) Rankin, Mabou; Glenna (Geoff) Goddard, Glen Haven; Annette (Glen) MacDonell, Tanya (Kevin) MacDonell; son, Robert (Linda MacDonell), all of Glencoe Station; 14 grandchildren; brother, William (Jean) Brophy; sisters, Margaret (Cecil) Blackburn, Dorothy (Eric) Knight, Mary (Raymond) Hill, Janet (Reg) Slaunwhite. She was predeceased by her husband, Murray Rhuda. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Monday in Port Hood Community Funeral Home, Port Hood, 2-9 p.m. Tuesday, funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon, Rev. James Richards officiating. Burial to follow in William Black Memorial Cemetery, Glen Margaret.
