Coming from a big family, Eula is also survived by brothers, Lloyd (Tilda), Sydney; Bernie (Elise), Sydney, and sister, Joan (Frank), Port Hawkesbury. She was predeceased by brothers, Clem and Elmer Britten. Eula was known for her loyal, warm, caring and generous nature towards family and friends, especially her devotion to her dogs, Missy and Sushi. Eula loved music, especially when sung by her family. Her devotion to family was always felt and will always be treasured. Eula enjoyed her many years as a school teacher in Halifax, Cape Breton, and Fox Point, retiring in 1974. She was a devoted Roman Catholic, who enjoyed the companionship received at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where she looked after church records for many years. Cremation has taken place.
