SAWLER, Lindsay Roland - 77, Lakeside, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2003. Born in Mahone Bay, he was a son of the late Roland and Vera (Eisnor) Sawler. Surviving are his companion and friend, Marion Hayden; sons, Paul (Robin), Dale (Nancy), both of St. Margaret's Bay; brothers, Raymond (Rae), Gold River; Charles (Barbara), Western Shore; sister, Barbara (Arthur) Mason, Lunenburg; grandchildren, Nicole and Cody; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Effie; brothers, Marshall and Paul; sisters, Marie and Pearl. Cremation has been entrusted to Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Andrews Anglican Church, Timberlea, The Rev. Ann Bersky and Rev. Judie Lafford officiating. A committal service will follow at 1 p.m. in Western Shore Cemetery, Western Shore. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
