SEABOYER, Dorothy Ruth - 84, Queensland, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2006, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Queensland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Seeilger) Kennedy. Dorothy will be remembered as loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took great pleasure in baking, cooking and knitting. She was an avid bingo player and always looked forward to looking after her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Malcolm; son, Don (Margy), Queensland; grandsons, Mark (Susan), Kevin (Anne Marie), Kirk (Marjorie), Paul (Shannon); granddaughter, Cindy (Andy); eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Marion (Arthur) Osgood, Halifax; Jeanette McKendry, Victoria, B.C.; nephews, Brian, Halifax; David, Victoria, B.C.; niece, Diane, Halifax. She was predeceased by her son, Bruce. Visitation 2-4 p.m. Sunday, funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Hubbards.
