SELLARS (Jewers), Helen Victoria -82, of West Lawrencetown, Halifax County; it is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother with her family by her side on January 16, 2011 in the Dartmouth General Hospital, Dartmouth. Born in West Quoddy she was the daughter of the late Daley and Adelaide Jewers. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Fulton; children, Roger (Patricia), Cheryl (Gordie), Randall (Sharon), Michelle (Roddy); six grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers, Bruce, Lloyd and a sister, Norma. Helen obtained her education in West Quoddy and went on to Normal College in Truro. She then taught in West Quoddy, Woodside, Lawrencetown and Westphal. Helen was a member of the Calvin United Church and UCW. She loved to knit, crochet, garden, bake, sew and travel. Funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday January 20th from Calvin United Church, Lawrencetown. Rev.  Sally Budge Officiating. Burial to follow in Lawrencetown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Nova Scotia Parkinson Foundation or Calvin United Church or Lawrencetown Cemetery.
