SHATFORD, Hazen Quentin "Curly"- 92 of Halifax, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2002, Halifax. Born in Fox Point, he was the son of the late Clyde and Sadie (Westhaver) Shatford. Curly worked his early years in the lumber camps. Also on the Halifax waterfront as a stevedore before working at the Holiday Inn Lounge for 25 years. Survived by a brother; Boner, Halifax, and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers; Wilson, Murray, sisters; Edna, Florence, Mable. Cremation has taken place. A committal service will be held 2 PM., Sunday, May 26, 2002, St. James Anglican Church Cemetery. Fox Point. Services have been entrusted to the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards.
