SNAIR, Clifford Ross- 80, of
Ingramport, passed away Thursday February 10, 2010, at home. Born in
Ingramport, he was a son of the late Firman and Nellie (Manuel) Snair.
Clifford worked for 45 years with Schwartz & Sons until he retired five
years ago. He was a gardener, loved planting flowers and tried his green
thumb at growing pumpkins. He loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed the outdoors.
Clifford lived the life he wanted to live. He was a kind and generous to his
friends and family. He will be missed by all. Survived by his brothers,
Eric, Oakville, Ont.; Malcolm, Hubbards; Albert, Boutilier's Point; sisters,
Dorothy Lohnes, Hubbards; Elizabeth Childs, Halifax; Kathleen "Toots"
Nickerson, Burlington, Ont.; Gwen Brown, Milton, Ont.; and many nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Gordon in infancy, Keith, Dan, Reginald,
Arthur and Byron; sister, Evelyn Waltherr. A service celebrating Clifford's
life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday February 16 in Ronald A. Walker Funeral
Home, Hubbards, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial to follow in St.
