SNAIR, Leola Arlene - 86, Glades Lodge, Halifax, formerly of Black Point, passed away April 12, 2003, in Glades Lodge. She is remembered to be a very strong and independent woman, who took great pride in her gardening, loved baking, knitting, reading, picking berries, and walking to the store. Born in Head of St. Margaret's Bay, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Ellen (Boutilier) Dauphinee. She is survived by son, Raymond, Ontario; grandson, Scott, Boutilier's Point; granddaughter, Tanya (Mrs. Adam Pelley), Boutilier's Point; great- granddaughter, Brooke Pelley, Boutilier's Point; brother, Victor, Herring
Cove; sister, Vera, (Mrs. Lionel Charron), Sudbury, Ont. She was predeceased by husband, Harry; son, Donnie; sister, Myrna (Mrs. Guilford Jennings); brothers, Milton, Melbourne and Russell. She is greatly loved and missed, and will forever be in our hearts. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ronald A. Walker Funeral Homes. A committal service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19, in Black Point Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow in Pelley's home at 124 Boutilier's Point Rd.
