SNAIR, Reginald Halstrod - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Reginald Halstrod Snair, 80, of Boutilier's Point, passed away on August 2, 2008, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. He was a son of the late Firman and Nellie (Manuel) Snair. Reg was a journeyman electrician for 45 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, lobstering and tending to his many gardens. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his dog, Tasha. He will be sadly missed by his family. He is survived by his wife, Marion (Whiting), and his children, Christine (Michael) Seaboyer, Sims Settlement; Darren (Vance), Smith's Cove, Digby; Lisa (Joseph) Cummings, Lower Sackville, and his grandchildren, Corbin and Josie Cummings; brothers and sisters, Kathleen (Clem) Nickerson, Burlington, Ont.; Gwen (Wayne) Brown, Milton, Ont.; Dorothy, Hubbards; Betty, Halifax; Byron (Joan) and Albert, both of Boutilier's Point; Clifford, Ingramport; Mick, Hubbards; Eric (Doris) and Art, both of Oakville, Ont. He was predeceased by his sister, Evelyn and brothers, Dan and Keith. Funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon.
