| STEVENS, Kevin Paul - 50, Seabright, passed away
suddenly on December 20, 2005, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in
Ship Harbour, he was the second youngest son of Ruth and Winnifred (Eisan)
Stevens, Ship Harbour, and the late Edson Harris Stevens. Kevin is survived by
his wife, Sheila (Regan); son, John Edson (Sheri); daughter, Erin, and three
precious grandchildren, all of Dartmouth; sisters, Diana Hanley (Doug), Barbara
Miller (Keith), Brenda Boutilier (Jim), all of Dartmouth; brothers, Carl
(Louise), Terry (Donna), both of Dartmouth; Stanley (Marilyn), Upper Stewiacke;
Eldon (Beverley), Bedford; and many nieces and nephews. Kevin was a stationary
engineer 1st class and also held a 2nd class refrigeration certificate. He was
retired from the former Camp Hill Hospital Power Plant. He enjoyed meeting
people, playing cards, his guitar and gardening. He was an avid Detroit Red
Wings fan and a member of the KOC Council 7302, Cole Harbour and the White Caps
Seniors Club. Kevin was a devoted husband and father. He was a kind, gentle and
quiet man having patiently endured so many medical challenges. Visitation will
be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, December 26, in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home,
13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday,
December 27, in Blessed Pope John XXIII Church, 35 Colby Dr., Cole Harbour,
Father Paul Morris officiating. Interment to follow at 1 p.m. in St.
Augustine's/St. Anthony's Church Cemetery, Simms Settlement. Memorial donations
can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice. On-line
