
| STEVENS, Lloyd George Aaron - 91, Halifax, formerly of Boutilier's Point, passed away Friday, May 16, 2008, in Northwood Centre, Halifax. Born in Mill Cove, he was a son of the late Arden and Flossie Stevens. Lloyd was a foreman with the Department of Highways for 23 years. His passion was his plum orchard, hunting, fishing and card playing. He was an active member of St. Andrew, St. Marks United Church, Ingramport. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Erna (Ramey); sons, Wayne, Halifax (Kathy, Ontario); Larry (Chris), Hubbards; daughters, Veronica Snair, Halifax (Albert, Boutilier's Point); Jeanette (Bill) Thorne, Boutilier's Point; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by brothers, Victor, Roderick and Oliver; sisters, Jennie, Ruth and Opal. Visitation will be held Monday, May 19, 1-4 p.m., and funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon, Rev. Dorothy Bell officiating. Interment to follow in St. Andrew, St. Marks United Church Cemetery, Queensland. Family flowers only. Donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of choice.
