STEWART, David McKeen "Dave"- 76, Elmsvale, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2009, in Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour. Born in Elmsvale on August 15, 1933, he was the son of the Stanley and Myrtle (Hamilton) Stewart. Dave did trucking for the Moir's Chocolates for 28 years. His favourite TV show was M*A*S*H which he watched over and over and still could get a laugh out of it. Survived by his wife, the former Sylvia Bennett; sons, Gary (Gail), Randy (Lynn), both of Tantallon; David (Angie), Dartmouth; daughter, Karen, Farmington, Me.; grandchildren, Curtis, Justin and Amirah; sister, Florence Miller, Elmsvale; brothers, Ray and George, both of Timmins, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his stepmother, Eva; brothers, Donald, Robie, William and Roland. Cremation has been entrusted to Ronald A. Walker Funeral Homes. There will be no visitation or funeral services which were Dave's wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, 7702 # 7 Highway, Musquodoboit Harbour, NS B0J 1T0.
