
| STODDART (Langille), Eileen Marie-It is with profound sadness that the family of Eileen Marie Stoddart, of Hubbards, wishes to announce her passing into God's Glory on October 31, 2008. Sons Wayne and Brian, daughter Sandi, son-in-law Dave and sister Doreen comforted Eileen in her last moments. Eileen was born April 15, 1938, in South Brookfield Queens Co., Nova Scotia, the daughter of Viola (Morash) Harding, Nanaimo, B.C., and the late Ira Charles Langille. Eileen gave countless volunteer hours to the community, working with the Hubbards Area Lions Club, The Childrenís Wish Foundation and TOPS. She was also an active member of the Chester Royal Canadian Legion. She is survived by sons, Wayne (Marian), Calgary, Alta.; Brian, Taipei; daughter, Sandi (Dave) Bredy, Calgary; brothers, Arnold (Margo) Langille, Medicine Hat, Alta.; sisters, Marilyn (Dennis) Labreque, Port Alberni, B.C.; Doreen (Henk Hiemstra) Langille, Hackettís Cove, N.S.; Carol (Ed Knight) White, Kelowna, B.C.; grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, Maddie, Connor, Kevin, Lauren, and great-grandson Kain. She was predeceased by her partner, Tom Howard, in 2003. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggyís Cove Road, Tantallon, Rev. Sandra Cox officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or QEII Health Sciences Center. Eileenís family wishes to offer a special thank you to Dr. Hall and the staff at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, NEU/ICU for their care, support and compassion during our time of need.
