SNAIR, Earl Frank - 84, of Ingramport, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2001, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Ingramport, he was the son of the late Stanley and Prudence (Graves) Snair. Earl retired in 1982 from Snair's Bakery with 28 years service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and took great pride in his garden. Survived by his wife, the former Edith May Brown; sons, Richard (Elizabeth), Mississauga, Ont.; Terry (Lottie) Head, St. Margaret's Bay; Alan (Carla), Timberlea; daughters, Karen Carins, Beaver Bank; Darlene Hazel, Ingramport; Rosemarie (John) Woolman, Boutilier's Point; sister, Theresa (Allister) Zinck, Walden, Lunenburg Co.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers, Harry, Willie, Roy, Beverley; sisters, Melda, Pearl, Hilda, Ella; three siblings in infancy. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Chapel, Tantallon, Rev. Reg. Lewis officiating. Family committal will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lung Association.
