TAYLOR, James Wilfred -
81, of Halifax passed away Sunday April 4, 2010, in Northwood Center,
Halifax. Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late James and Gertrude
(Strickland) Taylor. James had worked construction at Sagadore Cranes and
later commercial driving at Bob MacDonald Chev Olds. He was a hard worker
and a people person. He was, "The dancer amongst us." Survived by his son,
Wilson James "Jim", Simms Settlement; daughters, Paula Ann Dominey,
Coleman Cove; Shirley Doris Marzetti, Queensland; Rose Ellen (Chris)
Baker, Simms Settlement; Donna Marie (Robert) Cross, Hubbards; eight
grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife, Pearl
Alice; brothers, Ronald and Roy; half-brother, Earl; half-sisters, Josey
and Marjorie. The family will receive visitors 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 13
in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. A committal service will be
held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 from Simms Cemetery, Simms Settlement.
