VERGE, Arthur Byron
-87, of Mill Cove. It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my
beloved husband, Arthur, on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, in South Shore

Miller Fisheries until his retirement in 1988. He is survived by his wife of
49 years, Jeanine Shatford; brother, William (Rosanne); sister, Betty
(Steve) Bainbridge; sisters-in-law, Minette, Rosa (Fred), Lillian Verge;
brothers-in-law, Gilford Harnish, Blois; his two "special girls" who dearly
touched his heart with their extra love and dedication, Beverly Levy and
Denise Harnish, many nieces and nephews too numerous to name. He will be
missed by his treasured and constant companions, kitty cats, Shelby and
Blackie. Arthur was predeceased by sisters, Doris, Lily, Virginia; brothers,
Albert and George. Visitation will be held 7-9:30 p.m. today and Friday 2-4
p.m. in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service will be

Omstead and Rev. Reg MacDonald officiating. Interment in St. James Cemetery,
