VAN DER JAGT, Arie Douwe - 70, Tantallon, passed away June 7, 2001, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Ryswyk, Holland, he was the youngest son of the late Arie and Afke Van der Jagt-Hoogstra. Arie came to Canada in March 1955 and settled in Halifax working for CBC Design Department for 28 years. Arie is survived by his daughter, Charlotte "Lottie" and Wayne Boutilier, Tantallon; son, Robert and Leni Remolano-van der Jagt, Cayman Islands; grandchildren, Christopher, Michel and Jessica; sister, Carrie; brother, Piet and wife Marie, Holland. He was predeceased by his son, Dewey; sister, Sjoertje; brothers, Cees, Corstiaan, Ynse and Jan. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors, 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, in St. Margaret's Anglican Church Hall, Tantallon. Services have been entrusted to Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Way or St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Tantallon.
