
| WILSON, Isabel B.L. - 96, French Village, passed away November 12, 2003, in Glades Lodge, Halifax. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Alexander B. and Jemimah (Miller) Cameron. Isabel lived in Truro in her early years before moving to Stellarton, where she attended school. She then went into nursing school at the former VG Hospital from 1928-1931. She was a member of the VG Nurses Alumni and was the last member of her graduating class. She was a nurse at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital in Tatamagouche from 1945-1972. She was also a member of Sedgwich Presbyterian Church where she was a faithful member of their choir. Isabel was the last member of her immediate family. Surviving are nieces, Mrs. Isabel Zwicker, French Village; Mrs. Shelia Patterson, New Glasgow; Mrs. Doris Arnold, Owen Sound, Ont.; Mrs. Betty Gribbon, St. Thomas, Ont.; nephew, Mr. Alex MacKenzie, Trenton. She was predeceased by her husband, C. Norman; sisters, Ethel MacKenzie, Doris Jackson and brother, Alexander in infancy. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon, Pastor Alex Rockwell officiating. Burial to follow in William Black Memorial Cemetery, Glen Margaret. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lillian Fraser Hospital, Tatamagouche and/or Glades Lodge, Halifax.
