WOOD-CROSSMAN, Carol Ann - 46, Tantallon Woods, passed away January 30, 2004, at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Rex G. Wood and Betty A. (Bill) Tracy, Sackville, N.B. Carol enjoyed traveling. She moved to the Yukon at the age of 20, then moved back to Nova Scotia to be with her family. Carol started at the Nova Scotia Hospital in charge of Postal Services and then created a new job for herself at QEII Health Sciences Centre in charge of courier services. Carol was a team member for the last seven years and one of the first paddlers for the Bosom Buddies. With this amazing group, so many wonderful friends had entered into Carol's life and they all provided so much strength, love and camaraderie. Surviving are her husband, David H. Crossman; brothers, Frederick R. Wood, Oxford; Robert Wood, Vancouver, B.C.; sister, Linda A. Trenholm, Kentville; nephews, Stephen Wood, Dana and Adam Trenholm. She was predeceased by her nephew, Darren Wood. A celebration of Carol's life will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon.
