Wyman, Dwight Ronald -62, Hubley, NS, passed away at home on March 30, 2010, following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Halifax, son of the late Percy and Florence (Northup) Wyman. He was a devoted husband and father and  is survived by his wife Cheryl (Joudrey); daughters Shelley, Lakeside and Natalie, Timberlea, grandchildren Taren and Grace Ivany and Tristan Wyman-Bird; brother Grant (Linda) Bridgewater, sisters Judi (Bruno) Pardee, Connecticut, Diann, Halifax, brother Terry, Bridgewater and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brother Donald Wyman. He retired from the Scotiabank in 2004 with his last manager’s post at North and Agricola Street Branch.  He was an Auxiliary Constable with the RCMP from 1988 to the present serving out of the Tantallon detachment and later at Headquarters. He was a member of the Blue Knight’s Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club N.S.1 since 2003.   He was a Chief Instructor with the N.S. Safety Council Motorcycle Training Course since 2002 and later with Safety Services Nova Scotia.  As with any task he undertook, he was totally committed to his work with the RCMP and as a motorcycle training instructor. His dedication to law enforcement was demonstrated March 1992 when he was awarded a Commanding Officers Commendation for his courage in chasing down and apprehending a bank robber on foot (while off duty).  He enjoyed hunting/fishing and time spent at Deer Lodge II with his brother, Grant and friends. Motorcycle trips with the Blue Knights or with friends, Ed & Trish Snow, was always top on the list. Before biking, many summers were spent at Keji Park camping with the family. Our thanks to Dr. Stephanie Snow, Dr. Liam Mulroy, Joe Pratt and all the VON nurses who visited our home. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday 7:30 – 9:30 PM at Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Tantallon.   Funeral service will take place 11 AM at Birch Cove Baptist Church 50 Donaldson Avenue, Halifax. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery in Bridgewater following the service.  Flowers from immediate family only.
