YOUNG,
Leslie Howard
-59, Head of St. Margaret's Bay. It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts
that we announce the end of Les' long journey with dementia. He passed away
Tuesday, May 26, 2009, in the Abbie J. Lane Memorial Building, QEII,
Halifax. Born in Victoria, B.C., he was the son of the late Wesley and
Goldie (Johnson) Young. Les was employed with several consulting firms over
the years such as Dillon Consulting and Cherubine Metal Works Limited and
more recently as a private Senior Design Technician. He is survived by his
wife, Kathy (Boutilier); sisters, Ann Wheatly, Halifax; Lynn (Tim) Cook,
Indian Harbour. He will be missed by his four legged buddie Nick.
Predeceased by his nephew, Mark Phelps. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m.
Friday, May 29, from St. George's Anglican Church, Head of St. Margaret's
Bay, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.
Many thanks to the dedicated staff of 6th floor, Abbie Lane; to name a few
but not limited to James, Sandra, Ellen, Jim, Helen, Mary, Carolyn, Nora,
Linda, Roseanne and Fran. Special thanks to Dr. Hickcox, Dr. Aquino and
Sarah Krieger-Frost. Your professionalism and kindness will always be
