ZINCK, Mary Catherine "Kaye" - 78, Scott's Point, East Dover, slipped away in the arms of the Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2005, in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Duhart) Brennan. Kaye was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed camping with family and friends. She was a member of the Seabright Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch 116. She is survived by daughter, Cathy (Weldon) Allen; son, Michael (Theresa); sister, Betty, all of East Dover; brothers, John (Shirley) and Michael (Eva), both of Sydney; foster sons, Tyrone and Zachary Newcombe, both of Halifax; six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Balford; infant daughter, Deborah; brother, Joseph; granddaughter, Sonya and companion, Olmon Herritt. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today with funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon, Rev. Les Ingram officiating.
