SCHNARE, Melissa Lynn - 27, Deep Cove. It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the death of Melissa, who passed away August 3, 2004. Born on September 14, 1976, in Winnipeg, she was the loved daughter of David and Cheryl (Publicover) Schnare. Melissa was a graduate of Forest Heights High School and studied at the College of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. Melissa had a great sense of humour, took pleasure in the outdoors, enjoyed physical activity, loved art and animals, especially her dog, Buster. She is survived by her parents; sister, Chlista, Bedford; grandmother, Glennie Schnare, Upper Blandford; many aunts,
uncles and cousins from the Publicover and Schnare families. A family committal service will be held in St. Barnabas Anglican Church Cemetery, Blandford, Rev. Dan Green officiating. BOND, Gerald Herman
BOND, Gerald Herman - 69, Head of St. Margaret's Bay, passed away August 5, 2004, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Quaker Island, Chester, he was a son of the late Howard and Ethel (Zinck) Bond. Gerald was retired with 35 years from Point Pleasant Park, Halifax, where he enjoyed many years of outdoor work. He was a member of the St. Margaret's Bay C.B. Radio Club and the South Shore Blue Grass Club and he was an avid camper. He is survived by his companion, Marilyn MacArthur; daughters, Shelley (Randy) Johnston, Upper Tantallon; Gail (Kirk) Atwood, Sackville; Angela (Troy Mackenzie) Bond,
Upper Tantallon; son, James (Sonya), Halifax; sister, Pauline (James) Campbell, Cape Breton; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mabel Boutilier; brothers, Laurie, Earl, Virgil; sisters, Kathleen and Shirley. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. George's Anglican Church, St. Margaret's Bay, Rev. Richard Walsh officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. George's Anglican Church.

RICHARDSON, Dwayne Grant "George" - 57, Sims Settlement, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2004, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Grand Manan, N.B., he was a son of the late Miles and Verna (McInnis) Richardson. Dwayne was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and enjoyed the love and time with his family. He was employed with Department of Fisheries and Oceans as chief mate for 30 years and worked part-time as a captain for Atlantic Pilotage Authority. A former captain of the Hubbards and District Volunteer Fire Department, St. Margaret's Bay Snowmobile Club and Chester Golf Club. Surviving are his
wife, the former Mary Watson; son, Donald (Debbie), Stewiacke; daughters, Sheila (Warren) Schnare, Windsor Road; Shelly (David) Pearce, Gold River; grandchildren, Jeremy, Quintessa, Jeffrey, Justin, Hailey, and Morgan; brother, Brian, Fox Point; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Wood. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. A committal service will be held Thursday, August 19, at 2 p.m. in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Fox Point, Rev. James Green officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made

LIBBY, Adrian - 79, Bayswater and formerly of St. Stephen, N.B., passed away Saturday, August 21, 2004, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in St. Stephen, he was a son of the late Alonzo and Lillian Libby. Survived by his brother, Paul, Alberta; and a number of relatives in New Brunswick. Adrian was a veteran of the Second World War, member of the Chester Legion, and worked for many years as an engineer with the fishing industry in the Maritimes. Cremation has taken place and a committal over the water, as per Adrian's wishes, will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a

2004, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in East Jeddore, she was the daughter
of the late Lorne and Eliza (Slade) Arnold. She is survived by her husband,
Donald; daughters, Hazel (Wayne) Coolen and Linda Fenton, both of Halifax; son,
Eric (Anita), Lewis Lake; grandchildren, Michael, Laura Lee, Carri, Christopher
and Michelle; brother, Lorne Arnold; sisters, Audrey Baker and Avis Jennex, both
of East Jeddore. No visitation by her request. Burial to be held at a later

daughter, Sylvie, Timberlea; brothers, Omer, New Market, Ont.; Edmond, Florida;
Richard, Halifax; Andrew, Paul and Robert, Bathurst, N.B.; sisters, Nicol Simson,
Hamilton, Ont.; Lada Roy, Surrey, B.C.; Theresa Boudreau, Robertville, N.B.;
Lillian Lecouter, Pauline Delagard, Paulette Godin, Bathurst, N.B.;
grandchildren, Amelia and Benjamin. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m.
