WILLIAMS, Rowland Archer "Rolly"
WILLIAMS, Rowland Archer "Rolly" - 82, Head of St. Margaret's Bay, December 28,
1922 - August 2, 2005. He was the son of the late George and Frances (Saint
John, N.B.). He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather, well-loved and
respected by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Enid (VanBuskirk);
daughter, Debby, Bridgewater; sons, David (Alison), Toronto; Peter, Head of St.
Margaret's Bay; grandsons, Brychan and Ross, Toronto. He was a veteran (R.C.A.F.);
Rolly was a navigator with 61 Squadron R.A.F in the Second World War, "He got'em
there and got'em back, every time". He then resumed what was to be a long career
with the Royal Bank. He was very active in community affairs in many places he
lived. One of his special loves was music and singing. Rolly sang in church
choirs for many, many years and especially enjoyed singing in Barbershop
choruses in Montreal and Nova Scotia. His other passion was sports, with him
enjoying bowling, tennis, golf, curling and cross country skiing. He was also an
avid baseball and hockey fan. We wish to thank all the staff of 5 West, Camp
Hill Veterans' Memorial Building, QEII, for the loving care he received during
his stay there. Visitation will be held 1-3 p.m. Sunday August 7, in Ronald A.
Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. Funeral service will be
held 11 a.m. Monday, August 8, in St. George's Anglican Church, Head of St.
Margaret's Bay. Burial to held in St. Peter's Cemetery, Shoal Bay, Murphy Cove.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society Canada,

NEWTON, Daryl Eric
NEWTON, Daryl Eric - 26, Fox Point, passed away August 8, 2005, at home. Born in
Halifax, he was the son of Eric and Phyllis (Butler) Newton, Fox Point. He was a
graduate of NSIT in 2003 from the Mechanical Program. He loved cars and enjoyed
spending time with his niece, Ceilidh. He was known for his warmth and gentle
personality and always helped others when he could. Surviving, besides his
parents, are his sister, Shirley (Cordell) Emerson; grandmother, Frances Butler,
Botwood, NL: aunts and uncles, Levi (Gloria) Butler, Joyce (Tony) Confortti,
both of Toronto; Wilson (Alice) Butler, Bishop Falls, NL; Jim (Erma) Butler,
Connecticut, U.S.A.; Scott (Joan) Butler, Botwood, NL; Sadie (Ken) Williams,
Fredericton, N.B.; Paula Newton, Mill Cove; niece, Ceilidh Newton Pierce. He was
predeceased by paternal grandparents, Eric Sr. and Shirley Newton; maternal
grandfather, William "Bill" Butler; aunt, Patsy Marie Butler. Visitation will be
held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today with funeral service on Thursday, August 11, at 11
a.m., both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards, Pastor David Crooks
officiating. Burial to take place in Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery, Botwood,

EISENHAUER, Adam Nicholas
EISENHAUER, Adam Nicholas - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden
death of Adam Nicholas Eisenhauer, age 26, on Sunday, August 14, 2005. Adam was
born and raised in the St. Margaret's Bay area and was currently living in Glen
Haven. Adam's life was surrounded by loving family and special friends who were
always there for him. Adam was a quadriplegic, who fought back after a tragic
accident four years ago that almost took his life. His parents, family and
friends had been amazed and so proud of his determination to be able to walk and
live independently. His best buddy was his dog Lokey, who was always by his side
and provided comfort that Adam so often needed. Adam was a fisherman as soon as
he was old enough to hold a rod. Even with his disability he was a great
sportsman who could always make a catch. He spent every day he could enjoying
the river, stream and woods. His soul was in the earth, water and everything in
nature. He is survived by his parents, Glenn and Heather (Dockrill) Eisenhauer,
Glen Margaret; brother, Aaron, Gabriola Islands, B.C.; paternal grandfather,
Robert Eisenhauer; aunts and uncles, Robert (Patricia) Eisenhauer, Ronald (Saskia)
Dockrill, Judy (Murray) Munroe, Donna (Rod) Edens, Sylvia (Eddy) Boyd, Chris
(Ginny) Dockrill, Heather Eisenhauer; several cousins and many close friends. He
was predeceased by paternal grandmother, Laura Eisenhauer; maternal
grandparents, Ronald and Dorothy Dockrill, and uncle, David Eisenhauer. Funeral

SAMPSON, Tyler Glenn "Tiggy"
SAMPSON, Tyler Glenn "Tiggy" - 25, Boutilier's Point, passed away Sunday, August
14, 2005, in Glen Haven. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Glenn (Donna
Arenburg) Sampson, Lewis Lake, and Janice (Ashe) Sampson, Boutilier's Point.
Even though Tyler's life was short, he lived it to the fullest. He was an avid
fisherman, skydiver, snowboarder, and loved nature and the outdoors. He was
kind-hearted and would lend a hand to help anybody. Surviving, besides his
parents, are sister, Cindy; maternal grandmother, Rev. Ardythe Ashe, Black
Point; paternal grandparents, Art and Velma Sampson, Halifax; many, many aunts,
uncles, cousins and loving friends. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today in
Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggys Cove Rd., Tantallon. Funeral service

BELLIVEAU (Mombourquette), Irene
Michelle
BELLIVEAU (Mombourquette), Irene Michelle - 34, Glen Haven, passed away
suddenly, Wednesday, August 17, 2005, at home. Born in Halifax, she was the
daughter of Donald Mombourquette, Boutilier's Point, and Linda Lohnes
(stepfather Dan De RČ), White Rock, B.C. Irene worked for Sovereign General
Insurance as a team leader for the Small Business Solutions Department. She was
awarded her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation in November 2004.
Irene was a loving and devoted Mom; her children were the joy of her life. She
had a wonderful sense of humour and loved to laugh. Her energy and spirit
blessed those around her. She was passionate about all that she undertook in
life. Irene had a huge heart. She was very generous and loyal. Her passing will
cause a tremendous void in so many lives. No words can express the depth of our
love for her and the extent of our grief. Besides her parents, she is survived
by husband, Michael Stuart; daughter, Katherine Michelle (4); son, David Michael
(2); sister, Andrea Mombourquette, Brampton, Ont.; nephew, Jordan Mombourquette;
niece, Hayley Mombourquette; grandmother, Marion Mombourquette; aunts, Twila
(Rick) McInnis, Angela (Adrian) Coupe, Paulette (Don) Gillespie, Cynthia
MacInnis, Sharon (Doug) Keel, Cathy Lohnes, Sadie Partridge; uncle, David Lohnes;
life-long friend, Tracey (Neil) Depew; many other friends and relatives who
loved Irene dearly. She predeceased by paternal grandfather, Wilfred
Mombourquette; maternal grandparents, Ian and Molly Lohnes; uncles, Donnie and
Philip Lohnes. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, August 22, at 1
p.m. in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon, Rev. Marjorie Cornelius
(great-aunt) presiding, reception to follow immediately at the same location. In

AASVANGEN, Roar
AASVANGEN, Roar - 58, Hubbards, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2005, in the
QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Norway, he was the son of Solveig
(Folsheim) Aasvangen, Chester, and the late Ivar Aasvangen. Roar had 37 years in
the insurance industry. He was an avid fisherman, ATV'er and motorcyclist, and
he loved to spend time on Mill Lake. He was a wonderful husband and devoted
father and a friend to all that knew him. Roar's love of life and his compassion
for others will be missed. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Agnes
(MacNeil); sons, Bill (Vicki), Halifax; Erik, Halifax. A visitation will be at 1
p.m. Saturday, August 27, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m., both will be
held in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards, Rev. Jim Greene officiating. A

HARNISH, Russell Allan - 62, Birchy Head, passed away Monday, August 29, 2005,
at home. Born in Birchy Head, he was the son of the late Allan and Blanche
(McInnis) Harnish. Russell worked his adult life in the fishing industry in the
St. Margaret's Bay area. He was an avid bingo and card player. He is survived by
his wife, Edith (Jollymore); son, Clifford (Debbie), Halifax; sisters, Gloria
(Elmer) Kline, Sims Settlement; Rosalene (Barry) Coolen, Dartmouth; grandson,
Christopher; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his nephew,
Shayne. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Thursday, September 1. Funeral service
11 a.m. Friday, September 2, both will be held in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home,
Hubbards, Rev. Jim Greene officiating. Burial to follow in St. James Anglican

PUBLICOVER, Marjorie Mae - 81, East River, passed away August 31, 2005, in South
Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Hubbards, she was a daughter of
the late Andrew and Elsie (MacLean) Dorey. Marjorie was an avid reader, knitter
and liked to travel. She was a kind and caring person and was loved by all that
knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother
and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Marie (Tony), East River; sons,
Gerald Dorey, Gold River; Frankie (Carolyn) Dorey, Mill Cove; Fred (Mary Jane),
Hubbards; Herbert (Eileen) Dorey, British Columbia; sisters, Joan Miller,
Hubbards; Jennie (Percy) Wentzel, Mahone Bay; grandchildren, Holly (Shawn)
McNeil, Salisbury, N.B.; Bricc Zinck, East River; Mark (Lacy) Zinck, East
Chester; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Kelsey McNeil, Andrew and Indianna
Zinck; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas,
sister, Dorothy Cooke; brother, Andrew Dorey; grandson, Chadwick; sister-in-law,
Marie Dorey, and brother-in-law, Jack Miller. Visitation will be held 2-4 and
