FLOYD, D. Brian - 61, Chester,
passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax, surrounded
by family and friends. Born in Toronto, Ont., he was the son of the late Jack
and Catherine (Hancock) Floyd. Brian was a graduate of NSCAD in fine arts and
education. He had a diverse career as an art teacher, international fisheries
observer, and as an interior designer/decorator. He will be remembered for his
generosity, intellect, quick wit, and for living life to the fullest with many
good friends. Brian is survived by sisters, Maureen (Albert) Martinez, Denver,
Colo.; Deirdre (John Skuggedal), Halifax, and nephew, Jason Colville, Yarmouth.
Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be
held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 13, in St. James Anglican Church, Boutilier's
Point, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the church
cemetery. Following the committal, everyone is welcome to join the family at 395
Viewmount Dr., Allen Heights, Head of St. Margaret's Bay, for fellowship and
refreshments. Services are under the care and direction of Ronald A. Walker
Funeral Homes. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the
staff of 8A, VG Site (Medical Oncology), to Helen of Palliative Care, and to all

MORASH, Terrence Gilbert - 58, West Dover, passed
away Monday, December 4, 2006, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in
West Dover, he was a son of the late Gilbert W. and Phillis G. (Young) Morash.
Terrence worked at Dalhousie University for 18 years and worked many years as a
part-time fisherman. Surviving are brothers, Barry, Ricky (Janet), Brice
(Beverley), all of West Dover; Blaine (Gail), Indian Harbour; sisters, Lorraine
(Clifton) Morash, Valerie (Pat) Morash; foster brother, Brian Mills, all of West
Dover; 12 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in
Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. Funeral
service 11 a.m. Thursday in St. James Anglican Church, West Dover, Rev. Irving
Letto officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers,

JOLLYMORE, George "Ernest" - 86,
Mill Cove, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2006, in Glades Lodge, Halifax. Born
in Mill Cove, he was a son of the late Granville and Vernie (Harnish) Jollymore.
He is survived by brother, Ralph, Mill Cove; several nieces and nephews. He was
predeceased by his sisters, Marguerite, Flossie, Vivian, Flori; brothers,
Gilbert, Gerald, and Lionel. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today with funeral
on Friday at 11 a.m., both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards, Rev. Jim
Greene officiating. Burial to follow in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Fox

MORASH, Florence Beatrice - 86,
Head of St. Margaret's Bay, passed away December 11, 2006, at home. Born in
Charlottetown, P.E.I., she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Lottie (Kneebone)
Logan. Florence was a faithful church goer, enjoyed doing crafts over the years
and going to the flea markets and yard sales. She was also a member of the St.
Margaret's Bay GRS Club, the White Caps Seniors Club and the Natural Camper and
Hiker Association. She is survived by sons, Norman, Victoria, B.C.; Wilfred
(Jean), Sims Settlement; daughters, Lottie (Terry Snair), Head of St. Margaret's
Bay; Dale (Peter Howell), East Uniacke; Darlene (Ray LeBlanc), Dallas, Texas;
grandchildren, Debra, Daniel, David, Douglas, Scott, Jason, Tanya, Carla,
Cheryl, Darren, Darrek, Ryan, Cory, Marc; 17 great-grandchildren; great
great-grandson, Adam; sisters, Helen Surette, Toronto; Edna Crowell, Dartmouth;
brother, Leroy (Yvonne), Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband of 56
years, Fred Morash; daughter, Joyce; granddaughter, Holly Darlene;
great-grandson, Andrew Thomas. Family will receive visitors 2-4, 7-9 p.m.
Thursday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church,
Hubbards, Father Chinedu Chukwu officiating, followed by cremation. Burial to
take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
