SEABOYER, Morley Ervin - 83, Bayswater, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2006, in Shoreham Village, Chester. Born in Upper Blandford he was the son of the late Ervin and Margaret (Demont) Seaboyer. Morley worked for MTT, retiring in 1984 with 42 years of service. He was a member of Wentworth Masonic Lodge 108, Dartmouth. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Hilton); sons, Peter, Dartmouth; Dale (Sherry), Woodstock, N.B.; Keith, (Andree), Mississauga, Ont.; Kevin (Heather), Summerside, P.E.I.; twin brother, Harley, Halifax; 10 grandsons; two granddaughters; one great-grandson. He was predeceased by son, Randy. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday in All Saints Anglican Church, Bayswater, Rev. Laura McCue officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. BEAULIEU, George Thomas "Tam" - 64, Mason's Point, passed away Friday, January 13, 2006, suddenly at home. Born in Sherbooke, Que., he was a son of the late Edwin and Doreen (Melrose) Beaulieu. Tam's early education was in Sherbrooke. He attended Bishop's and the University of New Brunswick and was employed with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada as a Civil Engineer. He is survived by his wife, the former Joan Wightman; daughters, Kelly (Richard) Job, Vancouver, B.C.; Sarah, Mason's Point. He was predeceased by his special friend, Monty. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 p.m., funeral Wednesday 11 a.m., both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. SLADE, Harold John Thomas - 50, Timberlea, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Canning, he was a son of Harold and Nina (Francis) Slade, Timberlea. Besides his parents, he is survived by brothers, Hartley, Montreal; Arnold, Timberlea; Tony, Labrador City, NL; sisters, Andrea, Timberlea; Beverly (Richard) Van'T Kruis, Windsor; Catherine (Richard) Gudger, Timberlea; Nina (Sean) Reddick, Hatchet Lake, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Phillip, Leonard and Kerry; sister, Coline. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. EVANS, Jean Claire - 76, Halifax, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2006, in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of late Carmen and Mary (Flynn) Keefe. She is survived by sons, John (Kathy), Halifax; Clifford (Pamela), Oshawa, Ont.; Peter (Liana), Halifax; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Carmen (Buddy) Keefe, Ottawa; Dennis Keefe, Halifax; Patrick Keefe, Ottawa; sisters, Francis (Mrs. Frank Croucher), Halifax; Margaret (Mrs. Albert Jeffries), Halifax; Marie (Mrs. Louis Martin), Timberlea. She was predeceased by husband, Reginald S.; brothers, James Keefe and Edward Keefe; sisters, Eileen Sweeney and Doris Martin. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, 3473 Dutch Village Rd., Halifax, Father Michael Walsh officiating. KENNEDY, Diane Elaine - 58, Queensland, passed away suddenly Monday, January 16, 2006, at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Erva (Dorey) Kennedy. Diane will be remembered by her family and many friends for her generosity and kind disposition. She retired as a Civil Servant with the Nova Scotia Provincial Government as a Human Resources Consultant. She is survived by her brother, Robert, Queensland; sister, Claire Matthews, Enfield; nephews, Michael, Brian, and Davy; nieces, Susie, Debbie, Stephanie (Eric), and a number of grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Billy and David. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards, Rev. Jim Greene officiating. BILLARD, Lillian Maxine - 78, Indian Harbour, passed away Monday, January 16, 2006, in Calgary. Born in Indian Harbour, she was the daughter of the late George and Ruth (Covey) Richardson. She is survived by her son, Kenneth James (Catherine), Calgary; grandson, Owen; brother, Wesley, Hackett's Cove. She was predeceased by her husband, James Wesley Thomas; brother, Douglas. YOUNG, Terrence Joseph "Terry" - 62, Mill Cove, passed away at home on January 31, 2006, surrounded by his family after a sudden illness. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Cmdr. Breen P. Young (Petpeswick) and Mary L. Roast (Lower East Chezzetcook). He worked for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans for many years, later working for the Coast Guard. He is survived by his wife, Judy (McInnis); daughters, Melissa M. (Bob) St-Laurent, Upper Tantallon; Tracy M. (Garry) Cousins, Pembroke, Ont.; son, Breen P. Young, Mill Cove; grandchildren, Grayson, Morgan, Hudson St-Laurent, Devin and Alyx Cousins; his special girls, Isabel and Sophie; sisters, Lorraine Chase, Halifax; Cathy (Bruce) Leslie, Halifax; Vergina Walker, Whites Lake; Carolyn Lauder, Halifax; brother, Graham, Halifax; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Young, and he sadly missed his best pal, Quigley. A private service was held Friday. Terry's favourite pastimes were taking Quigley for a morning walk, playing with his girls in the backyard, camping and enjoying a good book. Terry loved his pets and wished any donations be made to St. Margaret's Bay Animal Hospital, for the rescue and care of abandoned animals, 5229 St. Margaret's Bay Rd., Upper Tantallon, NS B3Z 4R5.
