GREEN, Raymond Aubrey - 57, Upper Tantallon, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2003, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Summerfield, N.B., he was a son of Phyllis (Lockhart) Green, St. Andrews, N.B. and the late Owen Green. Raymond was employed with the Pictou Advocate for a number of years. He was a resident of Halifax area since 1970. He is survived by his wife, the former Ann Arseneau; son, Michael (Rebekah), Lake Echo; daughter, Kimberly, at home; brothers, Frederick (Linda), Florenceville, N.B.; Peter (Lacey), Ottawa. The family will receive visitors 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker
Funeral Home, 13549 Peggys Cove Rd., Tantallon. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Lukes United Church, Tantallon, Rev. Jim Forbes and Rev. T.D. Cleveland-Thompson officiating. CORKUM, Alfred Willis
CORKUM, Alfred Willis - 87, Simms Settlement, passed away Monday, September 29, 2003, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in East Chester, he was the son of the late George Willis and Eva (Moland) Corkum. Alfred worked as a carpenter and was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas in the army. He is survived by his wife, the former Aartje VanDeKamp; daughter, Eva (Ray) LePage, Mill Cove; grandchildren, Michelle, Baddeck; Marc and James, both of Mill Cove; great-grandchild, Laurel, Baddeck. He was predeceased by sisters, Lillian Trefry, Beatrice Whynot and Gladys Walker. Cremation has taken
